Catherine + Brian – Aisle of Palms St. George Island Wedding
Catherine is a local florist who organizes incredible creations that are fresh, colorful and full of personality. If you’ve seen the beautiful floral arrangements at Hotel Duval, you’ve seen her work. She also does weddings. When she started planning for her own wedding on the beach on St. George Island, she made the crazy decision to do her own floral arrangements! It paid off big time as you can see in some these photos taken by our good friends Kylene & Ryan.
If I had to pick the top song of the night, it would have to be any of the Scottish punk anthems we played.
This was a party to end all parties! Catherine had family in town from Scotland in kilts an all. We partied until… wait for it… 3:30 a.m. EVERYONE (bride included) ended up in the pool, except for me — unfortunately our systems aren’t waterproof yet! Catherine and Brian are two of the coolest people I’ve had the pleasure to work with, and I was thrilled to be a part of such a fun day, night and early morning at beach!
From Catherine: “Nate made our wedding one of the most memorable experiences of our lives; not only because it was our wedding day but rather the experience from beginning to end. We had been referred to Nate by two acquaintances and had been told that even if we had plans to meet with other DJs that we would quickly change our minds. They were were spot on! Every detail was covered and creative options were explored to truly make our wedding unique to us! Nate is extremely knowledgable and his upbeat positivity is refreshing. We enjoyed the energy Nate added to our wedding so much that our families paid him an additional two hours to stay to keep our party going into the wee hours of the morning. Nate accepted and never batted an eye. We are truly grateful for our pleasant experience with Nate. He was not only our DJ but so much more. Since our wedding he is one of the top wedding vendors I refer and have recommended to him to everyone I know getting married or having an event. Thanks again, Nate.”
