Meet the Musician

Michael

Michael is a skilled musician and experienced music teacher with a passion to share his love for music by equipping others to play, write and express themselves through the musical arts.

With a degree in Music Theory and Composition, a Master’s in educational leadership, 13 years of experience teaching music and more than 40 years of experience playing guitar, bass, piano, synthesizer, drums and percussion in various settings, Michael has the knowledge and ability to be an amazing contributor to any group of musicians in performance at any level or venue.

Over the course of his musical career, Michael has toured the country with a 12-piece band whom he wrote and arranged original music for, has written and arranged jingles for multiple large corporations and small businesses, and has composed and produced a full children’s album that sold in Sears stores nationwide.

Michael currently plays keys in the City Church Worship Band and is known as a fun, creative and supportive band leader. He enjoys his opportunities to play for any venue, particularly weddings, as he is a registered Pre-Marital counsellor and he and his wife have been married for 43 years.
