Over the past five years as a DJ for Amplify, I have been a part of incredible weddings at venues that would leave you breathless. However none can compare to Nick and Valentina's wedding at Louland Falls in Salt Lake City, Utah. The air was clear, the weather perfect, and the decor made the venue appear as if it came right out of your dream wedding board on Pinterest.

We began the ceremony with modern love songs for the prelude music, followed up by a trio of Michael Buble songs for the processional and recessional music. Cocktail hour kicked off with a mixture of Latin Jazz, Funk, and R&B, we then segued into an Acoustic/Motown set for dinner. Dinner was promptly followed by Nick and Valentina's first dance which was a waltz where they passed each other off to their respective parents first, then to whoever wanted a chance to dance with the lucky couple. Afterwards they modestly cut the cake only to kick off dancing immediately with Mi Gente. From there we spent four and a half hours in an exuberant Latin dance party, ending only when the bride could no longer dance on feet worn out from the days celebration.

I would not be doing the wedding justice if I did not mention the absolutely decadent variety of sweets available to munch on after dinner of which I partook far more than my fair share of. All in all this wedding rocked the house and will go down in my mind as one of my favorites of all time!

THE REVIEW

"Ryan was our DJ for our wedding. We had a blast. Even though we had a lot of Latin music requests since it was an American/Argentinian wedding, he managed to mix the music and kept all guests dancing for many hours. Great communication from day one, very easy and comfortable to work with. I would recommend Ryan 100%. Thank you for making our night so perfect and fun!!"
