We began the ceremony with modern love songs for the prelude music, followed up by a trio of Michael Buble songs for the processional and recessional music. Cocktail hour kicked off with a mixture of Latin Jazz, Funk, and R&B, we then segued into an Acoustic/Motown set for dinner. Dinner was promptly followed by Nick and Valentina's first dance which was a waltz where they passed each other off to their respective parents first, then to whoever wanted a chance to dance with the lucky couple. Afterwards they modestly cut the cake only to kick off dancing immediately with Mi Gente. From there we spent four and a half hours in an exuberant Latin dance party, ending only when the bride could no longer dance on feet worn out from the days celebration.
I would not be doing the wedding justice if I did not mention the absolutely decadent variety of sweets available to munch on after dinner of which I partook far more than my fair share of. All in all this wedding rocked the house and will go down in my mind as one of my favorites of all time!
