First, leading up to the wedding we had filled out a very detailed questionnaire that Nate paid extreme close attention to in order to understand exactly what we wanted from him and how he could make our special day AMAZING!

Second, during our final meeting we were able to go through the questionnaire and even though my now husband and I were unsure of some things Nate was really helpful and patient with us while we figured it out.

“We booked Amplify for our wedding and we had Nate. He is the owner of the business and had been highly recommended to me. I was willing to pay extra to reserve him specifically, and it was worth every penny. Nate kept all my needs and wants in mind and offered phone call and video meetings throughout the planning process. He also scheduled a 30 day before call and a 1-2 week before phone call. This was helpful to iron out the details. He offers a detailed questionnaire to allow you to put in your song choices and he also provides recommendations. You can also indicate how much involvement and energy you want from your DJ and for me, personally, I wanted him involved. He did not disappoint. The last hour and a half of our wedding reception people were out on the balcony taking pictures and mingling and Nate came up with a fun drinking game to get everyone on the dance floor who would not normally dance and the night flourished from there. Everything was done beautifully and there wasn’t a dry eye or a non-smiling face in attendance.

Chelsea pulled everything together during our final rehearsal. Like I said before, she wrangled the bridal party haha ?. She made sure everybody knew when and where they were supposed to be at all times, and made sure they were paying attention to what the next step was. The music flowed wonderfully and the timing was perfect for the ceremony.

Chelsea’s DJing skills are off the charts! Her flow, music choice and energy is ON POINT! This squirrel knows what she is doing! There was never a dull moment on the dance floor. We received so many compliments on the music that was played at the wedding. From the music playing when people arrived to the final dance, it was such a wide variety of different genres and times. Every generation was cutting a rug or tapping there foot within earshot of those speakers. She really knows how to read the room, keep things flowing and keeping the crowd involved and hyped. There were a handful of songs we specifically chose for certain things but for the ones that were undecided, she filled in the blanks perfectly! Overall Chelsea gets 20 stars! And then some!

“What do you get when you combine fun, funky, formal, and fabulous? AMPLIFY! Amplify was one of the vendors that I knew I had to have as soon as we got engaged, and our DJ, Chelsea, was absolutely AMAZING! We had the chance to meet and review our preferences the week before the wedding, and we instantly knew that Chelsea was going to get everyone, from ages 5 to 80 on the dance floor at the same time. She provided music during our ceremony and during our reception. Every song we requested was played at the perfect time. When we made changes to our schedule that night, Chelsea was flexible and made it happen for us. Guest requests were happily played and she had people on the dance floor for the ENTIRE night! I may be biased, but I have never been to a more fun wedding and Chelsea was the reason!”

“There is NO party without Nate!! My husband and I both work in the wedding industry, so we have experienced a lot of weddings. We knew that we wanted ours to be special and custom to us and created our top three MUST haves. The food had to be good, we had to have good photos/video, and the music HAD to be perfect. At all the weddings we attend we have heard the same playlist over and over, except when we see Nate. I knew that Nick and I had to sit down and discuss our wedding with him. Within the first 20 minutes of talking Nate and I discovered we both have a deep love for pop-punk. So much so that Nate told me about this pop-punk band. At that moment I texted my MOH and said the DJ knows all our music, he is hired. We instantly signed a contract and started our partnership with Amplify. Now to the day of… The best day of my life thus far. Nate arrives on time at both locations and sets up without any need for my time. Before introductions, he spent plenty of time making sure there were no last-minute changes and that he pronounced every name correctly. The blend of music he put together was nothing short of perfection and kept my dance floor full. He knew exactly when and how to get the party started. He even let my godson sing on the microphone to his favorite song. Our pop punk moment was something that forever will live in my heart. There is nothing like singing your heart out to your favorite songs that have brought you through it all with your very best friends. I loved that I could also look over and see Nate dancing with us. I could go on and on but will leave this review with this. Every single person at the wedding, every single person, said something to me about how much they loved the DJ. “Amplify! My goodness! Hire them! Hire them! I promise you will not be disappointed. We sadly had to push our wedding back three times due to covid and each time Nate was so gracious and understanding. He would always accommodate and communicate with us! As a bride I was getting incredibly nervous about if my wedding would even happen or nervous vendors would start to drop off or take money from us. Not Amplify! They were truly allstars for us. Super gracious, accommodating, creative and helped me stay within budget (which honestly, most vendors do not care about but Amplify did). “We booked with Amplify back in the beginning of 2019, for my daughter’s wedding which was scheduled for May 2020. Then the pandemic hit and derailed my daughter’s original wedding plans. I spoke with Nate to let him know my worries about the coronavirus due to health concerns for myself and our guests and we would have to reschedule. He assuring me he would go ahead and refund all monies except the non-refundable $250 deposit, three days later the refund showed up on my credit card. Many couples are wrestling with vendors over receiving a refund or a credit after the coronavirus crisis halted their wedding plans. Amplify is not one of those vendors, Nate said my deposit could be used anytime, even if we decided to have something in 2022 or later. His understanding showed me that Amplify isn’t just in business to make money, but Nate and Amplify sincerely care about their customers.
