Meet the Musician

Rebecca

Rebecca Edmiston is a pianist passionate about collaboration, pedagogy, and community outreach. As a collaborative pianist, Rebecca has a wide variety of experience performing vocal and instrumental repertoire in addition to musical theater, choral, and church music. Rebecca has recently worked as a vocal coach at Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan and has studied at Emerald Coast Chamber Music Festival (Destin, FL) and The Collaborative Piano Institute (Faribault, MN). Rebecca is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music with Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and currently teaches at Thomasville Road Academy of the Arts in Tallahassee. She has given presentations at the MTNA National Conference and MTNA National Collegiate Chapters Pedagogy Symposium. Rebecca is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in collaborative piano at Florida State University where she works as a graduate assistant in accompanying. She earned an MM in collaborative piano at FSU and BM degrees in piano performance and music education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
