“Amplify Entertainment is arguably the best vendor we worked with for our entire evening. They were the first DJ company we met with, and he was so personable and his prices were so reasonable that we didn’t even interview anyone else. And it paid off–we were so happy with our decision! We worked with Nate, who is the owner of Amplify Entertainment. He is extremely friendly and outgoing, and he provided endless guidance throughout the planning process. He helped me create my timeline for the ceremony and for the reception, recommended songs for different events (first dance, father daughter dance, bouquet toss, etc.), and kept me organized! He even suggested ideas I wouldn’t have thought of, such as the generations dance, which ended up being a really nice touch at our reception. Nate was always prompt to respond and his online portal payment system was so nice to work with–no mailing off checks (unless you want to)! On the actual wedding day, he picked the perfect songs that made everyone cry when I walked down the aisle! (We hired him for both the ceremony and reception.) He stayed out of sight, so no one even noticed it was a DJ and not a band. A very cost effective choice that paid off! At the reception, he achieved exactly what I’d requested — a quiet, low key dinner where we could talk with our guests that then built up to a party where everyone could dance. He was not a cheesy DJ. He interacted with the crowd just enough so that everyone had an awesome time. Even more, Nate went above and beyond by providing special lighting that wouldn’t trigger a migraine for me, which we didn’t pay for (I get migraines with flashing lights).
