“The Amplify team did an AMAZING job at our wedding. They were the clear choice out of the 10+ entertainment groups that we had researched and met with. We were looking for a group to do a DJ/band hybrid for our reception, and Nate Long FULLY saw our vision from the start. I also felt like they were VERY reasonably priced compared to other DJ/band hybrid options. We booked Nate as our DJ as well as three live musicians who played the drums and two different types of saxophones. Nate also was booked for the ceremony to help with the microphone situation between our string musicians and our officiant. Considering it was a REALLY windy day, I can’t imagine not having Nate! He was fully prepared for the wind and the audio was crystal clear for our guests. I still can’t get over how fun him and his team made the entire evening. Nate functioned as an incredible emcee throughout the dinner portion and knew exactly how to get the energy going when it was time to transition to dancing. He and his team were punctual, organized, and professional. They are definitely the type of vendor you want for your wedding — you can trust their best judgements (they do a great job of getting to know you and your preferences. That way, when they have to make a decision, they know exactly what you yourself would do) and you know that they’ll deliver exactly what you want and more. It gave us incredible peace of mind that Nate was so “on it”. There’s a thorough document to fill out for each portion of the evening or add-on that you book with them; the form definitely asks all the right questions to make sure that the night goes smoothly and according to your vision. Nate was always friendly and appreciative of my many Type A/detail-oriented emails, and even does a pre-event meeting to go over the final plans and any last minute details. He did a great job feeling the crowd and changing course as needed. He had amazing mashups that I still can’t get over, and my guests went NUTS with him and the band interacting with the crowd — we couldn’t get enough! The band did great riffing over the tracks and having fun with each song. We cannot express our appreciation enough!

tl;dr: Nate and the Amplify team did an amazing, seamless, incredible job with our wedding. If you’re unsure on choosing your wedding entertainment, you will be blown away with Amplify.
