“TLDR: HIRE AMPLIFY, HIRE NATE, IT WILL BE THE BEST DECISION (other than getting married) THAT YOU EVER MAKE! If I could recommend one vendor to everyone, for literally any event, but especially your wedding, it would be Amplify (dibs on Nate specifically). Nate was amazing, both leading up to and day of. When my photographer cancelled, who had a list ready to go for local vendors? Nate. When we had a highly specific and odd request, who was there with song recommendations, excited to execute our vision? Nate. When I tell you our guests have not stop talking about how wonderful and how much fun they had dancing, it was absolutely electric. Nate handled on the fly changes with ease and professionalism. He was extremely responsive while planning and again, I cannot speak highly enough of how professional Nate conducts himself and his business. We had been burned a few times with other vendors by those who meant well, but were unorganized and unprepared. Emailing and talking with Nate was a breath of fresh air. The way he organizes the planning for his couples makes it so no stone is left unturned and nothing is left up to chance (if you so choose!). If you want, you can plan every moment down to the second OR you can let Nate take the wheel, and trust me, he’s got your back. As for the day of, Nate prioritizes his couples and their happiness. We want to slip away without any questions? Goodbye Mr & Mrs, see you in a few! We really wanted to showcase our family and the love throughout the generations, so we chose to open the dance floor with a generations dance (check out Amplify’s page on tips and recommendations). My grandparents will be celebrating 60 years together this year and we were hoping they’d play along and dance till the end, but naturally they weren’t paying attention! Nate noticed and quickly got them up center stage, taking it a step further and giving them the microphone. We were all in tears, it was such a beautiful moment for them, for us, for everyone who loved someone in that room. We ended up purchasing the uplighting package and after all the wholesome, heartwarming moments, we got straight up disrespectful in that classy, historic venue. I wanted it to feel like a dirty Berlin warehouse club. Holy crap did Nate deliver. We were sweaty and messy, dancing like there was no tomorrow. My husband and I, like most people, have some very important songs that represent some significant moments in our relationship. For us, most of those songs are metal and metalcore adjacent. Towards the end of the night we opened up the MFing pit and for all the cringe that it could’ve been, for all the embarrassment it could’ve brought, Nate had the vibes so right, that the transition from club to pit was seamless. Bustle? Broken. Surroundings? Disrespected. John Mess vocal fry? Nailed (truly shouldn’t have been handed the mic, but thank you Nate for the opportunity). It was perfect. All to say, Nate is amazing and we mean it with every part of our being. Please hire Amplify if you want to throw the most amazing party and have the most beautiful wedding ever. He is a true professional and an even better DJ!!!”
