Meet the Musician

Zoe

Zoe has been playing the violin for seventeen years. She is originally from Campobello, SC, and she received her undergraduate degrees in violin performance and chemistry from Converse University in 2020. She is currently finishing her Master of Music at Florida State University, where she is a graduate assistant to Shannon Thomas. After graduation, Zoe is planning on continuing her education pursuing a DMA in Violin Performance.

Zoe made her orchestral debut at the age of 15 as a prize winner of the Carolina Youth Symphony Concerto Competition, and she has also appeared as a soloist with the Piedmont Chamber Orchestra and the Converse Symphony Orchestra.

Zoe has attended several summer programs including Aspen Music Festival, Brevard Music Festival, Decoda Chamber Music Institute, and Chamber Music on the Hill. Zoe has also performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Zoe has played for weddings, receptions, and other special events since 2012. She especially enjoys playing rock and pop covers.

Outside of her musical engagements, Zoe enjoys exercising, spending time outside, hanging out with friends, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
