“We loved our experience with Amplify! When I was searching for a DJ, I knew right away after checking out the Amplify website that I wanted to hire them. And I got even more excited after meeting with Nate and telling him our vision for our reception, styles of music we liked, etc. They really invested time in making sure our reception reflected our personalities. Not just the dancing music – but the cocktail hour, toasts, announcements, everything. They were willing to play all of our weird indie music requests, didn’t play cheesy songs, and didn’t do anything ridiculous or embarrassing during our reception (I have seen some weird DJs…). Dillon was such a fun DJ – we only met with him once before the wedding, and communicated briefly the week-of, yet when we showed up to the reception it was like seeing an old friend! He was super fun and very flexible. He patiently worked with us and the delays/time changes of the day. He was great at keeping everyone entertained and the reception rolling – all while making sure everyone was relaxed and having a great time. I honestly had no worries during my wedding reception and wish I could have slowed it all down to enjoy it more! Random highlight: Dillon found an acoustic version of the song we played to walk into our reception, and played it during our cake cutting. My husband and I both got excited hearing it again, and we even had guests comment on how beautiful it was.
