Camilo
Background
Camilo has had a strong relationship with music starting with the Latin music his parents would play while growing up. After being gifted an iPod Nano on his 11th birthday and gaining access to iTunes (ah, the world of music!), he was exposed to a wide range of music styles.
Camilo’s relationship with music grew with him playing trombone for jazz and concert bands throughout middle school and high school. Camilo then began DJing for fun at friends’ birthday parties and outings and eventually became the “go-to” guy for music within his friend group. This relationship with music fostered over the years is what allows Camilo to use his DJ skills to create memorable events.
Throughout his undergraduate career at FSU, Camilo was involved in event programming for a variety of on-campus events. This experience strengthened his ability to be proactive with event planning, helping everyone involved to be better prepared when the day of the event arrives. Further, Camilo’s experience has also taught him how to be adaptable on the day of the event with last-minute changes without compromising the quality he promised and the original vision of the client.
Camilo is also bilingual and available to make announcements in both English and Spanish. But even if your event doesn't feature Spanish announcements or music, Camilo's fun personality and attention to details is the perfect fit for any event.
