Mason

Background

Although not raised in a family of musicians, Mason has been surrounded by music his entire life. His parents used to burn classic rock albums that he’d spend hours listening to on the bus to and from school (and sometimes even in class, shhh).

Mason grew up in Tampa, and his musical journey started when he picked up the saxophone at age 11. Joining the music community catalyzed his love for the craft and he continued playing in classical and jazz ensembles up to his freshman year of college, when he attended FSU, eventually earning a degree in Jazz Performance. After playing in FSU jazz ensembles Mason has come to know and respect all kinds of music, making it easy to get excited about any genre. Since graduation, Mason has been using his skills playing the saxophone and DJing in Tampa and Tallahassee.

When he’s not behind the horn, behind the decks, or out on the dance floor, Mason loves spending his free time outside, playing frisbee, going on hikes, and traveling. And you better believe there's also a soundtrack for every activity! If you're looking for a fun, friendly, and energetic DJ, definitely don't pass on Mason!
