My first impression when arriving at Southern Lea Farms was what a beautiful location for a wedding! From the beautiful glistening blue lake in the background to the lights and decorations, it was such a breathtaking view!

This was a wedding I was already so excited to be a part of because Hayley and Zack were such a joy to work with during our planning process. Hayley had expressed to me that they were big fans of country music, which was fun for me diving deeper into a genre that I didn't grow up on. I am very big on communication and making sure everyone is on the same page. Hayley and Zack asked questions and filled out our questionnaires. We stayed connected all the way up until the wedding!

When I saw their song selections for the ceremony I knew it was going to be such a genuine wedding. The wedding party walked into an instrumental version of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls (which is actually one of my favorite songs!) and Hayley walked into an instrumental of "Cowboy Take Me Away" by The Chicks.

I thought all of their songs from the ceremony to their cocktail/dinner playlists matched their personalities to a tee, and their ceremony songs blended in with the scenery making their ceremony such an aesthetically pleasing experience. They had such a fun crowd for their reception, and most of their guests were out on the dance floor the whole night. They were so energetic and entertaining, and I just had to get out on the dance floor to join them!

One of the highlights of the night was when I gave one of Hayley's friends the mic so she could get out in the crowd and rap to "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix a Lot, which was very impressive. By the end of the night everyone was laughing and having such a wonderful time, so they had asked me to stay longer, which of course I said yes! This was truly one of my favorite weddings. It's weddings like Hayley and Zack's that make me love what I do and never think about it as a job!

THE REVIEW

"I just want to say that we had the best DJ at our wedding!!! Annie was Fantastic!!! She was so professional and made sure all was taken care of on the music/sound system side of things. She talked to me weeks before the wedding to get our playlist and double checked with me to make sure the playlist was what we wanted. Annie knew just what to play and when to play it. On her bio, it stated the types of music she liked. We have some similar tastes but not all. This girl did her homework!! I was so impressed when she sent us the playlist for each part of the night! I specified some songs but mostly artists. Our wedding/reception was super go with he flow and Annie fit right in! She checked with me throughout the night to make sure everything was going the way we wanted, which was so sweet. She even got out on the dance floor for the group dances! Because she did such a good job, we ended up asking her to stay for an extra hour, as we had so many people still there dancing. We paid her for her overtime and she was happy oblige. If you’re looking to book a DJ for your next event,I would recommend Annie! If I ever need to book a DJ for anything, it will be her. She helped make our day super special and had one EPIC reception! Please consider booking Annie! You won’t regret it!"
