This was a wedding I was already so excited to be a part of because Hayley and Zack were such a joy to work with during our planning process. Hayley had expressed to me that they were big fans of country music, which was fun for me diving deeper into a genre that I didn't grow up on. I am very big on communication and making sure everyone is on the same page. Hayley and Zack asked questions and filled out our questionnaires. We stayed connected all the way up until the wedding!
When I saw their song selections for the ceremony I knew it was going to be such a genuine wedding. The wedding party walked into an instrumental version of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls (which is actually one of my favorite songs!) and Hayley walked into an instrumental of "Cowboy Take Me Away" by The Chicks.
I thought all of their songs from the ceremony to their cocktail/dinner playlists matched their personalities to a tee, and their ceremony songs blended in with the scenery making their ceremony such an aesthetically pleasing experience. They had such a fun crowd for their reception, and most of their guests were out on the dance floor the whole night. They were so energetic and entertaining, and I just had to get out on the dance floor to join them!
One of the highlights of the night was when I gave one of Hayley's friends the mic so she could get out in the crowd and rap to "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix a Lot, which was very impressive. By the end of the night everyone was laughing and having such a wonderful time, so they had asked me to stay longer, which of course I said yes! This was truly one of my favorite weddings. It's weddings like Hayley and Zack's that make me love what I do and never think about it as a job!
