About the Work
Amplify performs more than 300 events every year, mostly weddings. Enjoy a flexible side gig that allows you to get paid doing what you love while continuing to improve your craft. Amplify's live musicians use their extra cash to pay for recording studio time, pay off student loans, upgrade their instruments and equipment, or just get some extra spending cash. You may choose to accept or decline each event offered, with each event having its own contract. Sometimes you'll play alone and other times in a group with another musician or two. Most event bookings are for an hour or two and are for Amplify's wedding clients, though other events include company holiday parties, anniversaries, and more.

✅ A serviceable instrument of your own + a stand (if needed)

✅ Ability to purchase sheet music/tabs and/or otherwise learn specific requests (typically 2-4 per event)
✅ Availability on weekends in general
✅ Formal attire appropriate for a wedding
Not Required
❌ You're not required to work directly with our client. We have each client fill out a questionnaire that captures all of the info you'll need from location and timing to specific song selections and requested attire.
❌ This is not a 9-5 job and you can accept or reject each gig offer that we send your way.
❌ There is no non-compete here, so you're still free to work any other non-Amplify gigs as you please.
