Combining the upscale amenities of a Tuscan-inspired estate with the laid-
back charm of a countryside venue, Sterling Event Venue’s hillside perch
features a breathtaking view overlooking Lake Apopka—Florida’s third largest
lake—with Orlando’s sprawling skyline in the distance.
Just a half-hour drive from the bustling City Beautiful below, not to mention
offering ample parking and modern amenities, Sterling boasts the best of
both worlds: a pastoral escape from the hustle and bustle without sacrificing
luxuries nor ease of access thanks to its proximity to one of the world’s top
tourist destinations.
At Sterling, ceremony options include an outdoor pavilion and a stone bridge,
both of which make for picturesque backdrops. Cocktail hour is often held on
the veranda outside. Weather-permitting, the reception can be held outside
too, but most couples opt for the banquet hall, a spacious and inviting space
with hardwood floors and chandeliers, a built-in stage, and an exposed wood
cathedral ceiling. Overall, the vibe is countryish yet still classy. Our DJs
especially like the room, too, due to its excellent acoustics.
Designed from the ground up to be an event venue uniquely suited for
weddings, Sterling’s well-furnished conveniences include a large bridal suite
with a private antechamber, as well as a groom’s suite, which are located
upstairs and connected to the reception hall by an open staircase perfect for
making a grand entrance!
Beyond that, Sterling’s policies are sure to please their clients. Unlike many
venues, they allow unlimited site visits to enable adequate pre-event
planning, enable an open vendor policy so your hands aren’t tied when it
comes to choosing your preferred professionals, and your day-of experience
will benefit greatly from full-day access beginning at 9am along with their
11pm noise ordinance—which is a more flexible window than many venues in
the area allow—meaning that you and your guests won’t be rushed to enjoy
your time to the fullest on your big day!

Maximize Your 15-hour Rental: Take advantage of the 9am load-in time to begin early with hair and make-up and possibly even get some of those important photos out of the way so that you can focus on what’struly important: being present in the moment with your significant other and your guests! Music must be turned off by 11am and all guests and vendors must vacate the property by midnight.
