Ashley and Nicholas described their wedding day vision as energetic, personable, and fun, and it was perfectly executed during their wedding at the Golden Eagle Country Club. Their Story of Us video played throughout the night, giving guests a glimpse into their journey as a couple. The evening culminated with everyone having a blast on the dance floor!
The ceremony took place outdoors by the beautiful lake out at this venue. Despite the rainy weather threatening to move it indoors, the rain paused just in time, allowing the birds to serenade Ashley and Nick. With the seats dried off, guests took their places, and the ceremony began. After exchanging lifelong vows, the couple recessed down the aisle to "Best Day of My Life." Cocktail hour followed, featuring an acoustic soundtrack built off of the song "Riptide," a favorite of the bride.
The wedding party made a grand entrance to "All of the Lights," pumping up the crowd for the bride and groom's arrival to "Crazy in Love," met with cheers and applause. The newlyweds then shared their first dance to "I Swear," echoing their earlier vows.
Following a delicious dinner prepared by the Golden Eagle staff, entertaining toasts, and a sweet cake cutting, the dance party kicked off! From '80s pop hits like Whitney Houston to 2000s throwbacks including Ne-Yo, everyone was on the floor. One special request, "Time of My Life" from Dirty Dancing, featured the iconic lift! Check out the gallery above for proof! The night concluded with a stunning sparkler send-off to "A Sky Full of Stars" by Coldplay as the crowd created their own sky full of stars for the couple.
