Ashley is a wedding planner herself, and we’ve worked many weddings together over the years. So when she told me it was finally her turn to be the bride—and that she had her DJ picked out even before getting engaged—I couldn’t have been more thrilled. From the start, she had a clear vision: fun ✅, elegant ✅, energetic ✅, timeless ✅. And that’s exactly what her wedding delivered!
Ashley and Quinton’s favorite genres—2000s throwbacks, country, and hip hop—kept the dance floor packed all night. Whether it was Tyler Childers, Nelly, or Kevin Gates, every track hit just right.
But let’s rewind for a second. This might be the only wedding gallery you’ll ever see with snow on the ground in Tallahassee -- maybe in all of Florida! Huge shoutout to the incredibly talented Charlotte Fristoe (photographer) and masterful Adriel Conde (videographer) for capturing every stunning detail. Despite the snow, the weather was surprisingly mild. The juxtaposition of white snow, Spanish moss-draped oaks, and vibrant green palms made for a truly singular, one-of-a-kind backdrop.
Dania Irvin with Dulce Events coordinated the day flawlessly, and Ashley infused the celebration with personal touches throughout. A guest few favorites? Custom concert-style t-shirts for guests, and a surprise dance for her mom that featured each of her sons-in-law—including the groom!—taking a turn before her dad stepped in while I faded in to her parents’ own first dance wedding song from decades ago.
It was a truly unforgettable day—for the couple, for their guests, and yes… for Florida weather history.
