“I spoke with many DJs before I chose Nate with Amplify for my wedding on New Years Eve. Everyone promised they could make our night memorable, but Nate stood out. His prices are very competitive for the market, and he takes running his company seriously. In fact, he runs his company the way all consumers hope any service-based company will be run, but very very few are. Mostly we get people like electricians who give you a 9-1 window and show up at 2 the next day. Nate couldn’t be more of a shining star in his field. He is reliable, honest, kind, and responsive. He didn’t oversell or make lofty claims that he couldn’t keep — he explained his goals and operation truthfully and made assurances on value and quality that he stuck to. We chose one of his DJs for our event who had to drop out for personal reasons about a month before, and Nate handled it perfectly. He had a solution instantly (he had already secured another DJ for us when he told us our first had to step away), he was apologetic and took ownership of the issue but remained confident and reassuring that it would be fixed. As it turned out, we couldn’t have been happier with the DJ he chose for us. We got married in Salt Lake City, with Ryan as our DJ, and I can’t tell you how many times I heard people scream “THIS DJ IS KILLING IT!” He was nice and easy to work with and he totally understood exactly what vibe we were setting. He took the job seriously, but he wasn’t stiff or overly formal, and we just loved him. Plus, he nailed the ceremony and dinner playlist, kept the dance floor completely full, and played songs even I was yelling “ohmagod I haven’t heard this song in 10 years!” …before singing every word. We couldn’t have been happier with Amplify, as a business or as a DJ.”
