The soft evening light and stunning oceanfront views at Casa Marina make for breathtaking shots of you and your wedding party​. We’ve seen couples get amazing sunset pics by the dunes – a must-have for your album!

• Rooftop Bar for Cocktails: Consider hosting your cocktail hour on the rooftop patio. Your guests will love sipping drinks with one of the most spectacular views of the North Florida coastline behind them. Plus, a cool ocean breeze and sunset sky create an unforgettable atmosphere before the reception. It's also a great spot to host the after-party!

• Sound in Multiple Spaces: Casa Marina offers both indoor and outdoor celebration areas, so plan your music setup accordingly and book 2-3 sound systems total on your DJ package. For example, if you’re saying “I do” in the courtyard and dining inside, work with your DJ (👋 that’s us!) to arrange a second sound system or speakers so everyone hears the vows and toasts clearly throughout the venue​ and then a third if you're using the rooftop bar. This ensures seamless audio coverage as guests move from ceremony to reception.

• Parking & Guest Arrival: Parking is provided on-site, but on busy beach weekends it can fill up quickly​. We recommend advising guests to arrive a little early or use rideshare services to avoid any stress. If you have a lot of out-of-town attendees, a shuttle from a nearby hotel is a great option to make transportation a breeze.

• Brand Your Wedding: To add even more elegance to an already stunning space, consider adding our Custom Monogram Lighting. • Backup Plan for Weather: Florida’s weather can be unpredictable – but Casa Marina has you covered (literally!). If a sudden shower rolls in, the team can quickly move your outdoor ceremony into the beautiful indoor ballroom, so your day stays on track. Our advice: embrace the beach vibe but always have that Plan B ready. In our experience, the venue’s indoor space is just as gorgeous, so you won’t feel like it’s a downgrade at all.

• First Dance Under the Lights: One of our favorite moments at Casa Marina is the first dance in the courtyard at night. The patio’s draping bistro lights twinkle overhead like stars​, creating a truly romantic setting. If weather permits, we encourage couples to do at least one dance outside – it feels absolutely magical and looks great in videos! A perfect candidate: the Private Last Dance!

• Upgrade to the Parlor Suite: If you’re staying on-site, ask about the Parlor King Suite for your wedding night or getting ready time. It’s the hotel’s most luxurious suite, complete with a spacious bedroom, living area, and stunning ocean views​. We’ve noticed that having that extra space (and a killer view) helps our couples relax and enjoy those pre-ceremony moments. Plus, it makes for fantastic getting-ready photos with your wedding party.
