Nestled on 215 acres of a former tobacco farm, Woodberry’s barn first stood over a century ago, when Havana, Florida, was a thriving hub in the tobacco industry.

Walking into the barn, you feel the weight of stories held in the beams — the light filtering through old slats, the sense of hand-crafted integrity, the whisper of generations. But this is no dusty relic. It’s been revived for today: a place where couples, their families, and hopefully a fun DJ to tag along 🙂 to spend an entire weekend celebrating and dancing, not racing against the clock.

The reception barn, the bridal cottage, the groom’s speakeasy, outdoor ceremony locales, and open grounds are all part of the package. Their flat pricing covers everything — if it's onsite, you can use it, at no extra charge.

• Weekend pace is everything
  Because you get the venue from Friday noon through Sunday afternoon, you can spread tasks out. Use Friday for space setup, rehearsal, décor placement. You don’t cram everything into one day.

• Be sure to book our Wireless PowerPack for the ceremony
  Most ceremony spots onsite don't have electricity, but have no fear! Our Wireless PowerPack provides completely silent electricity so we can bring music and wireless microphones to any spot across Woodberry's 215 acres.

• Use their décor library smartly
  Because so much décor is included, lean into it instead of buying or renting everything. Blend their inventory with your personal selections to elevate but not overcomplicate.

• Don't forget dance lighting
  The dance floor area, with its stage, is such a fun area to end the night with an epic party! While there is general ambient lighting sufficient for the space, you may want to add Premium Dance Lighting to up the energy when that dance floor opens!
  
  

• Plan guest movement flow
  From ceremony → cocktail areas → reception → fire pit / lounge zones — design paths that feel natural. Where might guests drift? Where will conversations cluster? Joelle is SUPER helpful with these kinds of logistics and planning, so don't hesitate to ask!

• Portraits everywhere
  That pond, the pastured fields, the rustic barn frame, the cabin porch — plan your photo schedule to wander the grounds. Plan time to wander for candid photos, especially just before golden hour.

• Leverage décor + layout for storytelling cues
  Use the barn’s original features (beams, rafters, aged wood) as accents rather than hiding them. Let the architecture speak. Coordinate floral, lighting, and focal elements to draw attention to the history — that authenticity sets this space apart.
